August Monthly Wrap Up☁︎

Hello Bookworms, a LOT happened this month. From participating in my firstever readathon(trope-ical readathon post) to reading over 30 books AND starting another school course, saying I’m busy is an understatement. I still cannot believe how fast this month has flown by! The time has come that we need to accept what looms ahead. And that is…. darkness….well, it’s winter, but aren’t they the same thing?

Goals for September!

Blog :

  • I already have a few blog tours scheduled for September! I enjoyed ALL the books I read, and I cannot wait to share my thoughts.
  • I’m hoping to post some longawaited reviews, and a very very VERY special review(hint: it’s my favourite book in the entire universe).
  • A book tag may or may not also appear on the blog, along with some mini-reviews(you know how much I love those)!

Personal Ventures :

  • This month marks the START OF SCHOOL(yay… I guess…). The opening date of my high school has already been pushed back a week, so let’s see if we even end up going to school in September.
  • Hopefully, September brings new and challenging things, with my blog and personal life, so stay tuned!
  • ALSO, I was apart of the Trope-ical Readathon in August, which accounts for about seven of the books I read this month. I’m on the fence about joining another readathon for September, but my overall consensus is to read whatever I want this month(after reading SO many books this month, I’m going to slow it down a little).

What are your plans for September? How many books did you read in August? Let me know!!

  1. Dang! You are killing it the reading. (Sorry, I’m a month late. I just found your blog.)

But oof. I’m sad to hear you DnF’ed You Have A Match. Tweet Cute is one of my favourite reads this year.

You read some pretty good reads! My favourite of which being the Poet X!

  2. 30 BOOKS… you are unreal (in the best way haha)! I have never heard of someone reading that many books in the span of the month so you must be some wizard or a very fast reader (my guess is on the former). Now brb while I go look at every review you wrote 🙂

  3. Ummm GO YOU FOR ALL THE BOOKS!!! Seriously that’s so amazing and I am in awe. Especially because I read… not a thing lmao. The slump hit hard and all I read was some fanfic haha. So so excited to read the American Royals series and also Opposite of Always. Wicked Fox has also been glaring at me. And omggggg Emma Lord’s new book SO HYPED. Hope your September is just as amazing, though don’t burn yourself out xoxo

      1. Well, … not good. I just finished it and rated it 2,5 stars!! I’m gonna post my full review tomorrow (spoilers hidden) if you wanna know it all, but basically it was *only* romance, full of clichés and frustrating scenes )): I’m really sad because I loved American Royals!!

  6. Thirty!! Books!! That’s so crazy and you should definitely feel proud of that. My school opening date also got pushed back and I was kinda disappointed tbh, buuuut given how crazy NYC was I kinda expected it. Also lmk what you thought of The Hazel Wood because oh boy that book is one of my favorites. And I totally agree you should take reading books slowly because after all that reading you might go into a slump (and this is from personal experience lol). Lovely wrap up and I’m going to check out your bookstagram it’s so pretty 😍
